This bluetooth doesn't work for me. I absolutely hate it. It constantly blinks, cuts off and shuts down even when it has been fully charged. It almost never works for me.

Not ready.

I was satisfied with my BlueAnt Q2 headset but it was damaged when dropped. So, I pre-ordered the BlueAnt T2 Endure which was delivered five days ago. Yeah, I bought the hype: durable, improved noise cancellation, blah, blah, blah. After all, I'm the one who dropped the Q2, so extra-durable is good!My phone is an EVO running the Android OS.Here's my list of shortcomings:The sound quality is tinny compared to the Q2. I don't expect mellow sound from this type of headset, but the T2 is noticeably screechy compared to the Q2. Not critical, but irritating.The control button is so sensitive you'll swear it's a touch-free function. The slightest touch -- even just placing the headset in your ear or attempting to adjust the volume -- prompts the "Say a Command" phrase. OK, I may not have dainty fingers, but a light touch shouldn't send the T2 into spasms. Oddly the other buttons (Vol+ and Vol-)require much more strenuous efforts to operate. Just don't brush across the control button when trying to adjust the volume.The mini-USB cable port is covered with a small anchored rubber plug that's difficult to pull far enough away to easily insert the USB connector. I know the plug is part of the outdoorsy extreme-use purpose, but it makes connecting the cable far less convenient. If you're in an environment where that tiny plug makes any difference, a damp headset is probably the least of your worries anyway.Bluetooth connectivity is poor. I keep my phone in my right jacket pocket and the headset in my right ear, in almost direct and short line-of-sight between the two devices. Nonetheless the headset often cycles in and out of connectivity with the accompanying (beep) "No phone is connected" then (beep) "Your phone is connected" looping in my ear.I also watch videos and listen to audio on my EVO from time to time. Media audio via the Q2 wasn't a problem. Media audio via the T2 is a choppy mess, with audio blanking for several seconds every ten seconds or so, even with the devices separated only by inches (and without regard to the audio source). Media audio plays consistently through the phone speaker without blanking. This headset audio blanking seems to occur only with media audio and isn't accompanied by the (beep) "No phone is connected" routine. Phone call audio seems much more consistent than media audio if you can put up with the screechy sound quality and the frequent disconnect-reconnect thing. Callers didn't report any problems understanding me during conversations.What's good about it? Not much. There's a cool black rubber-like outer shell and a slightly smaller form factor than the Q2.Bottom line for me after 5 days of use: into the drawer as a stand-by headset.

Big step down from the Q2

I agree with the previous review. The sound quality is tinny, the main control panel is hyper-sensitive, and the micro-usb cover in fact does get in the way when plugging in to charge. Also, the fit in the ear is far inferior to the Q2.One pro: the voice commands work better with my Motorola Photon than those on the Q2.Very disappointed by this model.

A Bluetooth earpiece that fits well and handles calls with ease.

The Endure Rugged Bluetooth Earpiece is a comfortable headset for your Apple iPhone or Bluetooth enabled device. I tried this product out for two weeks and had no problems with its comfort over my ear or with taking calls. The packaging for this Bluetooth earpiece also has all the necessary cables and battery charger to get you running without delay. My favorite feature so far is the Caller Name Announce which keeps me from having to check my phone all the time while driving in town.Recently, I also used the BlueAnt on an airplane trip to watch movies while waiting at check-in. The Sony VAIO VPCYB33KX has Bluetooth connectivity and within a few minutes I was watching a digital copy episode of Serenity on the my screen with audio. The noise reduction features of the Endure Rugged Bluetooth Earpiece allowed me to hear the movie in one ear while keeping another open to hear boarding announcements in the airport terminal. The earpiece was able to play movies for over 4 hours before running out of power that day.Battery Life of this headset is very good considering its small size. My longest time between recharges was a full week when I was not getting any regular phone calls from work. The standby feature of this earpiece has kept it ready to use for a full week and it really did surprise me it could last that long.Connecting the BlueAnt T2-BK-USEN-US to your phone is actually quite easy to do. The manual that came with my headset offers instructions for multiple phones beyond the Apple iPhone. My LG phone has Bluetooth capability and in less than 4 minutes it was sending incoming calls to my earpiece.In conclusion, the BlueAnt Endure Rugged Bluetooth Earpiece really impressed me with its solid construction and sound quality.

Stopped holding charge after 3 days!!

Sound quality wasn't great, but was ok considering that it was far cheaper than prior handsfree headsets I've purchased. However, after initial charge I used it for four hours, less than one hour of talk time and the battery was drained. After charging again headset worked for two phone calls, under half hour total and had to be charged again. After the third day it will only work if plugged in. Complete waste of money, ridiculous!!!

I bought this device in November 2007 in the mistaken belief that California's cell phone law would soon take effect on January 1, 2008! [the actual effective date was July 1, 2008] As a result, I've had eight months of usage experience on which to base a review. I paid roughly $100 at Treo Central, an online cell phone accessory store, at a time when Amazon did not yet sell this device.Audio quality is excellent. Most people on the other end of the call aren't aware I am using a speakerphone. They hear some road noise and assume I am holding the phone to my ear in usual handheld mode. I like the way the mike boom extends from the device, not only placing the mike closer to one's face, but also serving as an instant on-off indicator (extended = on, retracted = off). An LED indicator light would be hard to read in bright sunlight, so I prefer the mike boom as my on-off indicator.Battery life is excellent. I charge it perhaps once a month and it has never run out of power. I am careful to turn off the unit when I leave the car.My phone (Palm Treo) is equipped with an auto answer function, so I set it to answer automatically after two rings (only when using a Bluetooth device) and Blue Ant Supertooth Light works perfectly with this arrangement. Incoming calls answer on the second ring, and the only button I use is the red button to end a call. If you want your calls to be announced for screening purposes, better to pony up an extra $30 and buy the Supertooth 3 model, which announces the number or caller and gives you the voice option to accept the call.I don't have Voice Dialing on my phone (the carrier requires an extra monthly charge so I don't bother) so I cannot comment on how well Blue Ant works in this capacity.Supertooth Light needed only ten minutes for set up, and installation is simple. Just slip the metal clip on the visor and the device attaches magnetically to the clip. No permanent installation required. Can be moved from car to car, and Blue Ant sells extra visor clips for this purpose.Three chargers are provided: AC, DC, and USB. Most users will only use the DC charger, but the device can also be used outside of a car as an indoor or outdoor speakerphone, so the AC and USB chargers are useful for some folks. The AC and USB cables may be useful as well for someone whose car's sole DC outlet is in use by another device, such as a cell phone charger.Addendum: as of August 2009, the unit continues to give excellent service. My Palm Treo was replaced by a Blackberry Curve in April 2009. The Blackberry 8310 does not have a Bluetooth auto answer function, unlike the Treo, so calls must be answered manually by pressing the green "accept" button on the Blue Ant device. The phone can be configured to auto answer when removed from a holster, but it does not auto answer when connected to a Bluetooth device. This is a limitation of the phone and not of the speakerphone. Otherwise, it works perfectly with the Blackberry. Blue Ant appears to be phasing this model out in favor of its Supertooth 3 model, but you can still buy Supertooth Light through discounters, often at a bargain price of $40-45.

Supertooth Light great product

Very easy to use product, excellent sound quality both listening and sending quality. My wife loves to use this product, especially since she can use her phone virtually handsfree for everything including dialing numbers. Connects to phone rapidly, so you do not have to leave it 'on' and idle and consuming any battery life, yet still use it to answer the phone when it rings.

Better than car's built-in bluetooth!

Looks like everyone is reviewing the black one rather than the white one... Here's my review from the black one for your reference:This is a great little device. The noise canellation seems to work better than that of the built-in bluetooth feature on my husband's car. With the car's built-in speaker, I have been told that they can hear the noise of the engine, air conditioner, etc, but I have not had the same complaints with this.I also like the full duplex feature, which is not available on most bluetooth speakers in this price range. The small downside to this is that sometimes, the person on the other end of the line will get an echo of their own voice. BlueAnt tech support (they were quite responsive, btw) suggested that I adjust the volume of the speaker. I had to play with it to find the right balance so that I could hear the other person without them hearing an echo. (Warning: this can be difficult with certain people who might not have the patience to wait!) However, once I found the right volume, it worked fine.

Really really good Bluetooth headphones.

I've been through at least 6 different Bluetooth headphones. Three Sharper Image BT headphones and three Scosche headphones, and one Arctic wrap around BT that didn't quite fit my big head. All 6 of them died minutes after I wore them when lifting weights. I didn't think I sweated so much to make these headphone stop working as it was less than 15 minutes into my routine. I know the instructions state not to get them "wet" but perspiration? I barely broke a sweat. Perhaps it was the heat?Now the SX-907.... I wore these headphones yesterday while I did 4 hours of yard work sweating my butt off and they worked awesome! I love that they cover my entire ear so now I do NOT have to listen to the neighbors stupid dog bark at me when I get too close to fence when using the weed eater or mowing. The sound quality is good and I bought these strictly to pair with my Motorola Droid X. Works like a charm and I have a EQ app that can boost the volume. Out the box, they were kind of low in volume. I didn't have to read the instructions, either. I charged them up for a few hours, then turned them on, and held the top button (play/pause) for a few seconds until the red/blue lights started blinking, and then I paired it to my Droid X.I'd love to have given these headphones a 5 star but they have an annoying feature with the side buttons. For example, when paired to my Droid X and music is streaming (Pandora, Slacker or Tunein) I took the headphones off, then when I put them back on, my hand would touch one of the buttons and the Droid X would immediately go to "Voice Command". I hate that feature as it's intrusive and I never use it. This happened several times yesterday as I was working and had to take off the headphones to wipe away sweat and when I took a break. This was really annoying. Another feature I dislike is that the volume control is attached to the music skip or fast forward. It's like a toggle switch. Press and hold up to increase the volume, or press it up once to skip to the next song. Down works the same, but in the opposite direction or I think it just lowers the volume and may be the culprit that launches Voice Command. The overall feel of these headphones is really cheap plastic, like it's hollow, however, I must say that these held up far better in the course of one day that those other name brand BT headphones ever did and they felt like sturdy quality headphones. I tested the calling feature by calling my wife and she said it sounded clear as can be. I noticed the microphone is located at the bottom of the right side ear piece (there's a tiny hole). Overall I'm please with these headphones and plan to use them not only for my yard work but when I work out in the gym.Pros -LightweightCovers entire ear and is somewhat of a noise reduction headphoneEasy to connect to BT deviceGood quality soundHas an on/off switch& looks really good, tooCons -Really cheap plastic and feels hollow (but at least it's light weight)Buttons are placed in awkward locationProprietary charger. Great sound

These headphones has great bass to it and very clear quality sound. The only problem is that it's big, but the sound quality make up for it. If you don't want to spend to much money, and want great sounding headphones, this is it.

Great product and easy to use. The battery life is also great. The headset can be paired to an audio device and/or phone. I say and/or because the headset can be paired to both at the same time. While listening to my ipod, if my phone rings it will ring in the headset and I can answer the phone and talk and then hang up and the ipod begins to play again. The headset can control the play on ipods and phones and has an adjustable volume. The sound is clear and the range is good to. Sturdy product and charges quickly.
