4Could this be the one? Maybe it is!
By Harold Buchanan
Ok, so every "waterproof" Bluetooth headsets have enough negative comments to reveal that there is issue right now with getting a working product out there. This one I bought as it advertised the features I was looking for and no reviews.Day one: The inflexible build makes this something that could annoy many runners. Sometimes if you run with your head straight up (good posture) the band can rub into the base of your neck. I sweat a lot while running and the rubber ear buds so far kept any sweat from backing into the speakers or electronics. The sounds is ok for my tastes. Loud enough. I was running for about ten minutes and I noticed the ear buds hadn't been in my ear and I was still hearing the sound pretty good, rare in ear bud type headsets. So far 35 minutes wearing thru sweat and worked fine. Will check in with updatesEdit: day two. A week later finally got to gym with the headset. Ran for an hour, stationary bike for half an hour. No issue with performance. When I turned it on, it was the second time, and it did not auto synch with the same device. Had to resynch to make it work. The hard back of the device does make a noticeable pressure against base of neck especially if I look up higher than level. While the eartubes do not stay right in the bet spot of the ear canal, the sound is fine even when not exactly as plugged in as designed. Dont know if there is a w ay to keep a device in the ear canal any better while running vigourously. Special note, this device does not have a great way to store it between use. It can not be folded, and does not lay flat. I need something like a larger glasses case to store it and keep it safe in transport, or I am afraid I will bust it by putting it in a flat space in my iPad case. Will consider for a bit and see if I get any ideas.Edit day three: today on start up it synced on its own with my iPad. Used for about 90 minutes again, no issue so far on battery life. Noticed today that I feel a little restricted turning my head with these on. I can turn to look left or right but can not do a neck rotation stretch while wearing them. But if on machines only, not really an issue. Pretty good reception across a room. No issues at around twenty feet line of sight, however if you go around a corner you will begin to cut out the further you are out of line of sight regardless of how "close" you are.Edit day four (of use): after about thirty minutes, I got a hint something was wrong. It skipped to the next track of my program, I waited for something else but otherwise the unit continued to work. After thirty more minutes I was done working out and the device would neither turnoff or adjust volume. After four days of actual use at approximately five hours total the sweat "proof" headset was shorted by what could only have been sweat. Returning it as soon as I can remember how to do an amazon return. Time to move to the next "sweat proof" unit.Changing from four stars to two due to only five hours of life before death. It is a two instaed of a one, as they are sending a new unit in order for me to continue to evaluate the model. Pending receipt of new headset we will see if I can increase my ranking. Other than the shorting out which could have been an individual defect, the product "was" otherwise working fine as described.Edit Round Two Day One. Charged new unit - about a month after I received it (been busy traveling) and used it for only 30 minutes. Had no trouble pairing new headset - and excersized for about 30 minutes and turned off.Edit Continue to use. This has done better than any previous wireless. Days 2-10 have all worked fine. Synched without having to return to set up. One day I forgot to charge inbetween uses - and After an hour the first day - got over an hour the secon day - so for the batteries are lasting something longer than 2 hours. yesterday I used it for over 100 minutes with no issue. As of 30 OCT Upgrading back to my original 4 stars. Will update this thread if this device stops working by the end of the year.Edit 2 months later: Did not use these for about a month due to travel, and without re-charging them after them sitting around for a month (fully charged before absence) They ran for over 90 minutes before I stopped using them. I have never tried to use them for more than two hours, but have never had them run out on me. Since Christmas I have used these another half dozen times, and they are still working. I make sure to wipe some of the accumulated sweat off of the back as it collects before dripping off, and I don't know if that is helping... But the first replacement they sent me are still plugging away - after at least 25 uses with plenty of sweat each time.NOTE: I have found that outside, that if your bluetooth device is on the left side of your body - you can have some slight loss of signal - that if held/fastened to the right side of your body, no issue with continued service.

3worked ok but will not charge
By fireman156
I have to say right out of the box I was not overly impressed. I connected them to the charger and let them charge over night. I did notice that the light was not on like the directions stated it would be. I used these a couple of time at the gym and once for a phone call. The fit was comfortable but I would have liked them to fit inside the ear better. When running they stayed in place ok. When laying to bench the regid back strap got in the way. I have to say the audio was clear and sounded good. I was told when using the phoe I sounded like I was on speaker phone but was easy to understand. After just a couple of hours of use they went dead. I attempted to charge them but they would not take a charge. The connecter seemed like a poor fit, The buttons were a little hard to find whil wearing the unit but had almost gotten used to it. I think if the charging issue was not there they would have been ok for the money. Not great, but not bad. Going to try another.

4decent BT head phones
By R. Minnich
These are decent BT head phones.Pros:Sweat resistantWorks with Galaxy S3Cons:They are a little small and don't fit tightly in my ears. The band between the ear phones is hard plastic. It makes it uncomfortable when laying down and exercising. The charging port on the head set isn't standard micro-usb.
