Fantastic Voice Quality but the incessant blinking light is annoying

It's very comfortable in the ear, and the sound and voice quality is excellent. However, it blinks 24/7 and to me, this is downright annoying. It might not bother others, but I fail to understand why this or any manufacturer feels the need for an ear piece to blink day and night when on stand by.Since nothing about the blinking light is mentioned in the product details, I had no way of knowing this was how it worked.I laid it on my nightstand and woke up to red and blue blinking lights thinking that emergency vehicles were in my bedroom! I had to hide it, so the blinking light would not bother me while I slept.Then yesterday, a friend over dinner, said "Something is wrong inside your purse!" I had removed my ear piece when I parked the car, and tossed it in my casual evening purse. I realized we could see the lights blinking right through my thin purse!When I pulled it out to show him, the bright blinking lights immediately got all the other diners' attention and we felt very self conscious, as all eyes were turned on us and our blinking lights *giggle*.You won't have to worry about finding this thing in the dark, the beacon will lead you to it in short order!Reviewed by Dear Miss Mermaid, author of "Hurricanes and Hangovers(and Other tall tales and Loose Lies from the Coconut Telegraph)"

Pairs easy and it is simple to operate. The instructions were easy to understand. Works fine and has extended range. The Blinking light is unusual although not bother-sum. Voice dial works great and You can control the volume from your cell phone. Easy call answer and reject.

For some reason the designers felt it was important for this device to blink every 5 seconds. There appears to be no way to turn off this feature without turning off the device or smashing it with a hammer. Otherwise, the unit works well with good sound and easy pairing. Good little unit for the price.
