Bose Blue tooth headset

Having purchased various products over many years I decided to to cough up $ 161.00 (price plus tax) for the product.paired it with an apple I Phone 4.pro's1. very good looking and easy to use which is a big plus for me2. will audio stream (play music) with my itunes on macbook pro and MacMiniCons.1. Sound quality average not as good as plantronics pro ( I have not tried the blueant Q2)2 Ear specific, you can only wear it in your right year3.twice the price of a blueant Q2 which has more features and better sound quality and 3 time the price of plantronics pro which has definately better sound qualityi wasAugust 9,2010update: I was having problems with battery life and distortion, called up Bose they immediately offered to send me a new unit in exchange for the old one the rep. even sent a pre paid ups label electronically I was also informed that Bose had updated their software on the new units they are shipping out . Dealing with Bose Customer Service has always been a pleasure, my new unit just came in today.

bose does it again another super product..bluetooth headset

I was beginning to beleive thatmy EVO smartphone did not work properly with the bluetooth head phone until ZI bought this Bose unit. It is the best I've ever had. I have tried Plabtronics, Sound ID and quite a few top notch headsets but only this one works perfectly with my EVO Android phone. It is loud, clear and calls are made by a touch of the button. It has volume adjustment and works flawlessly every time. This is definitely the Bluetooth head phone to buy. Bose comes through again with a class leading unit.

Disappointed

I've gone through many headsets trying to find the perfect one. After trying this one, I'm still looking.Pros:1. Volume is very loud2. Person on the other end said they could hear me very clearly and could not tell I was on a headset3. Sound quality on my end was average. I could hear people pretty well, but the sound clarity wasn't as good as previous headsets I have owned.Cons:1. Sometimes just randomly disconnects for no reason. I would be actively talking on it and like 2 feet away, and it would just disconnect. It usually reconnects within 2-3 seconds but this gets annoying. Happens maybe 1-2 times a day.2. Expensive3. Battery life is pretty bad compared to other headsets. I have to charge it every 1.5-2 days and I've probably only used it maybe for 3 hours talk time. I do not leave the headset turned on if I am not using it.If they improved the sound quality, fixed the random disconnects, and increased the battery life, I would be more than happy to pay the $150 as I just want a headset that works! Sorry, Bose, this headset is below the standard of quality we are accustomed to from your brand.
