Good Value

I was not expecting much when I order this bluetooth headset. I had tried other more expensive sets only to return them in dissapointment. The others had poor sound quality and were uncomfortable in my ear. I had decided not to try again, but when I got my new smartphone, I was worried I would drop it trying to cradle it between my shoulder and my ear. Given the low price, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised with this headset! It works beautifully with my Samsung Mesmerize and fits comfortably in my ear. There is no static and I can hear the person on the line clearly. When talking, those with whom I am conversing don't hear any distortion or interference either. The battery life is excellent and I had no trouble pairing it with my phone. I would definitely recommend the Samsung HM1000 Bluetooth Headset.

My last Samsung headset was also dirt cheap but performed great, so I was expecting more of the same when I bought this item. This is easily the best headset I've owned, and I've gone through two Jawbones, a couple plantronics including the voyager pro, a few samsungs, and several cheapo models. Although the voyager pro is probably better for the power user, this headset is perfect for the average user like myself. It has a physical switch which you can flip on and off to answer calls with. I can throw it up on my ear in a second, and it's so light and comfy I can't even tell it's there. The tiny blue light doesn't make you look like a pompous idiot, and the volume is great right out of the box, unlike the jawbones I've tried. Sound quality is great as far as I can tell. I'm sure dual-mic models have better noise cancellation for noisy environments, but with my average use, nobody has been able to tell that I'm on a headset with this thing. Best of all, it charges with any microUSB plug which all the new phones have now. At $2 after rebate, easily the best bluetooth purchase out there.

Over all it's not too bad

The device itself is amazing. It will pickup all sorts of sounds and noises that your phone wouldn't have even though twice about.The plastic piece that goes around your ear however, is rather uncomfortable. I find it keeps digging into the back of my ear and after about a half an hour of use, it's rather annoying.
