Good sound, easy to use

I bought this so my wife could watch TV in the bedroom after it's time to go to sleep.My only issue with it is more with my TV and that is that since it plugs into the headset jack a wall mounted flat screen is almost impossible to use.The headset jack on the TV is hard to reach and it disables the speakers so you can't just leave it in.The problem is ameliorated by plugging it into the blue-ray player we use for Netflix and discs. I suppose we can move it to Tivo or get an audio switch box but right now we're happy.As for the device itself it's battery powered with a USB charger and a 110V/USB plugin. You can leave it plugged in, turned on and charging all the time.We like the sound quality, I'd say it gives our Bluetooth headset at least as much quality as it can handle.The range seems to be about 30 feet, I loose it when walking down the hall, but that's fine for our purpose.Oh yeah, it doesn't look like the picture. I'll upload one of my device when I get a chance.

Lag with TV

I bought this to link up my unitron hearing aids with my TV. Reading the reviews I thought it would do well but it suffered a lag. The cord was also very short that connected to the TV so it could not be placed in the open. Being behind the TV limited the range to only a few feet. Returned it and went ahead and paid the $150 exorbitant price for the utv2 device from unitron. There is no lag with this device and it has a very good range.

Motivation:I Always dreamed with this since I have my headset (Nokia BH-905), but it was restricted to Bluetooth devices or use the cable for devices non enabled Bluetooth (like the TV), that is not comfortable, I'm a fan of the Formula 1 races, the live transmission starts at morning (2am or 6am), so the headphones are a must, in order to avoid disturb the bed time of the family with the roar of the engines, but the cable makes me mad, also make me worry for the TV, a cable is a magnet to accidents, so I had the motivation and decide to look in Amazon about this kind of devices "Bluetooth Transmitters" and after narrow my search by budget and good reviews, I choose this, even with the only two reviews this transmitter have, but all where positive, on other brands I see lags and stuff like that could smash my desire to enjoy TV with my Bluetooth headset.Quality:the sound quality is awesome I know about this since I use a lot my headphones with my Nokia N8, so I plug the device on the TV, use one usb port available on the rear of the TV to charge the transmitter and to the audio jack, pair with my headphones, and voila there is no noticeable lag, the sound stereo is clear, I use it to see TV, to play video games and the audio quality is marvelous, the signal cover all my house about 70 square meters across walls and I can hear the sound as clear as in the living room, of curse this is pointless but talks about the strength of the transmitter, so the signal is strong and almost perfect.Package:I was surprised, the bag was open, it comes inside a bubble bag with an sticker over, I don't liked that but I understand that maybe customs agency had opened the bag to check this (the package was delivered in Colombia, South Smerica), but the device is in perfect state, no scratches or finger prints, all the accessories are included so not a big deal, just a bad detail, and totally unexpected the cheap package for a miraculous device.Bottom line.So the transmitter is doing what I would expect the transmitter will do, just is over my expectations, totally happy about this purchase.
