Worth every penny.

I have owned a few Jawbones in the past. I had two of the original Jawbones that were very good at noise canceling and volume control. I then bought a second generation model of the Jawbone line of bluetooth headsets, which was not as good as the first generation when it came to loud enough volume. Aliph has had a couple of years to work on their technology and boy did they get it right with the Era. With the noise assassin setting turned on, I walked around an active construction sight and the person on the other end asked thought I was in a silent room. The auto volume control made it easy for me to hear them as well. It is also nice being able to choose the voice that the Era uses to talk to you and being able to customize the phonebook information so the Era can tell you who is calling. I would recommend the Jawbone Era to anyone who understands that you get what you pay for. There will be no disappointments with the Era bluetooth.

Achilles heel

I absolutely love this product. It works like no other in blocking out background noise. It is beautifully designed and intuitive..... however, it does NOT stay in my ear. The speaker is so large (probably about .25" diameter) it will not stay in my ear no matter which of the 8 ear attachments I use. I really want to love this wireless device but I can't use it no matter what I do.....SAD!

I love my jawbone, specially the new capability to upgrade its software via a PC and to customize its prompts. The battery lasts as advertised and my only regret is that it needs to be in touch with your cheek in order for the noise killer to work and to accomplish that it needs to fit snuggly and that turns out to hurt my ear after about an hour, there must be a better way to fit it.
