I had previously used a jawbone ERA for many months but it went missing. They make an awesome product so I did not hesitate to spend the time/money to replace it. I purchased a replacement unit from this vendor (11TH STREET WIRELESS INC) through Amazon. I already had experience with the ERA and with Amazon, so no need to read the reviews right? Wrong! The unit that I received was obviously flawed: The top button rattled excessively causing significant distraction during all calls. It also did not look/feel right. There were some minor blemishes on the housing. I suspect that the unit was used and was being sold as new. I would definitely stay away from 11TH STREET WIRELESS INC. I spoke to Amazon and they will be looking into the vendor and sending me a return label with the promise of a refund.

Allow me to add to the other reviews that this seller cannot be trusted. I read the negative reviews but took my chances because of the price. I knew I was in trouble as soon as I opened the package and saw that the device was not in a sealed package. It did not work at all with a Galaxy Note 2. I hoped that maybe an update would solve the problem since the phone is so new. When I connected to the Jawbone website and tried to download an update I got an error message that "the device is not in working order". I will place an order with another seller, at a higher price of course. I guess you get what you pay for. Buyer definitely beware of this seller. I hope Amazon looks into this seller's complaints.

I just received this 2 days after ordering it, synced it to my phone without a problem and then tried to sync it to my computer. As soon as I did it downloaded an update and went into a loop saying"Updating the software in your device, the headset will restart once it is complete." I looked on the internet for an answer and then contacted Jawbone itself. They took me through a few steps to try and reset the device but to no avail. They then said they would issue me a new one once I provided them with a receipt for it. I emailed them a copy of the invoice and they said they couldn't do anything for me as this was not sold by an authorized retailer and that I would have to contact the person who sold it to me. I contacted Amazon and they said send it back and once they received it they would refund me the cost of the item. I am just glad that I had this happen while I could still return it to Amazon. Buyer beware, the product you may be purchasing may not be backed by the manufacturer.
