1BAD PRODUCT!!! Design flawed!
By M. Prewitt
Hi, I actually was given one of these by my mother for Christmas 2009. She purchased it 12/3 and I got it on 12/25.Here are the issues- Great voice quality, I cannot dispute that. It does have good voice/sound quality. HOWEVER, to use the device, you must use the included 'case' for your iPHONE that has a built in micro-usb adapter charging port for the headset. This 'case adapter' is flawed in design. It has 2 wires that go to 2 small brass plugs that charge the headset when it is plugged into the case. That end works fine. On the other end, the 2 wires plug into the 'swivel out' usb port. HERE there is an issue. The 2 wires are tightly held in place in a track and have no protection or free play so that when you swivel out the usb port to plug a cable into it, it puts pressure on the cables. Over time, or if you pull up too hard on the usb port, the wires break and your device no longer charges. On the Apple store you will find dozens of people posting about this problem. They started showing up not long after it started shipping and up until February, people said that Newton was 'immediately' responding, then you will notice the reviews stop saying that and start complaining about 'lack of response'.Mine charged fine and worked until a few days ago when I realized that leaving it overnight had not charged it like it normally does. I leave the case on my desk and plug my iPhone into my computer. I only use this as my backup headset and it comes out of the case 1-2x a week. I have an H700 that is my primary so I can leave it on my ear all the time when I walk around the office.I popped my charger case apart to verify the status of the cables and they are both broken. I never (knowlingly) put any extra pressure on the usb port. I have actually only had to charge this headset about 4 or 5 times in the last few months, as I just don't use it that much. I imagine, if I had been using it as my primary headset, it would have failed right away and I might have been able to return it. I have been trying to reach Newton for 3 days with no success or response via their automated phone/email systems.Stay away from this product. I actually agree that the idea is good and the headset itself is good. But the charger sinks it. It really sucks. I give the headset itself a 4 (needs an over ear clip or adapter to get 5) and the case a -5, takes it down to 1 star on the Amazon charge, since I can't go negative. If Newton can fix the desing flaw, and it IS a design flaw, they'll have a good product, but as these are designed now, I can state with 100% certainty that 99% of the chargers will fail in less than 100 charges if they were built like the one I have. That is some poor designing going on there. I imaging someone will say I am wrong, but I am looking at the design and the swivel rubs the cables against the case edge and there is no stop or block to keep the port from opening too far and actually crimping or cutting the cables.. So it is only a matter of time before they break- Just like in cars or planes when a small wires gets in the wrong place w/o protection and you end up with a broken wire or a recall.. No difference. They should recall this case charger, it is that bad.I also wonder if the cables seperating might short and damage your usb port if you use the included usb charger cable for your usb port.Mark

3Mixed Feelings
By ZoeRae
I received this as a gift for Xmas and absolutely loved using it. The sound was fantastic and I really liked how conveniently it stored in the case. It fit flat on my ear and everyone commented at how well they could hear me - they could not tell I was using the bluetooth. The bad thing was that I only got to enjoy it for about 1 week. The earpiece somehow fell out and I have not been able to locate it. I also had a bad experience with the customer support team. I called twice with a question, leaving voicemails. I also sent an email and I never heard anything back from any of my attempts. This poor customer service experience is the reason that I will be looking for a different bluetooth now. It's unfortunate because I really did like the MoGo.

4Convienient, quite cool
By Christopher L. Canfield
A few months ago, I picked up this headset in an attempt to more socially use the phone. Towards that end, it has worked quite well.I've had two other bluetooth headsets in the past, and simply didn't get much use out of them. My problems has been A: I forget them at home, B: I mangle them in my pocket, or C: I fail to charge them. The MoGo talk addresses all three. Do note that it does charge IN the case, but doesn't charge VIA the case / or via the iphone plug-in. They lose a star for that one. But overall it is really convenient, and the additional bulk of the case is curved to fit your hand well enough that the size is not noticeable. The controls are a little esoteric. Hold the button down for about 10 seconds to turn it on. Hold it for 4 seconds to synchronize if it's already on (and not synced). Tap the button to switch from internal speaker to the headset. Once on headset tap the button to hang up on calls. Once you've used it for a while, it's pretty straightforward. But expect to spend a week trying to hold down the button for 3 seconds, or 5, or tapping it, and otherwise trying to get it right. Once you figure it out, the functionality seems spot-on.Sound quality seems limited by the iPhone's poor bluetooth drivers. Generally speaking, it's fine for phone calls (on par with the other bluetooth headsets) but noticeably more fuzzy than the built-in or wired microphones. If you already use bluetooth headsets on the iPhone, you should feel right at home. If not, expect a small but noticeable step-down in quality. The in-ear fit is basically perfect for me. I was paranoid for the first few weeks that it would fall out, but it never has.In general, I'm happy with the MoGo talk. It isn't perfect, but it is the easiest bluetooth headset to realistically drag around with you wherever you go. If you're looking for a convenient headset that will always be there when you need it, the MoGo Talk is a pretty solid choice.
