Works very well; sounds great

I bought this so that I can use it in my car to connect with my phone. My car currently has Bluetooth audio for hands free calling, but does not connect to A2DP for stereo audio (i.e. music). The plan was to be able to connect to both my car for handsfree calling, and this connected to the AUX input of my car stereo for music. This is for my Samsung Galaxy III phone. I did have to tell the phone to only connect to Stereo bluetooth with the iKross device, otherwise it would connect for both Stereo Audio AND handsfree, but once I did that it connected fine. I also have it hooked to a USB power connection in the car so I can't speak of the battery life.Regardless, it connects fine almost all the time, but such is the nature of bluetooth is that sometimes when the phone is trying to grab both connections one of them fails (probably the phone's fault, not this device's fault). Turning off bluetooth on the phone then turning it back on generally fixes it.Pros: Sound quality is very good; no dropouts; connects quickly; audio alerts when turning off and on, controls for volume and next/previous song. Small size. Turns on and off easily (i've had others which were difficult to tell if they were being turned on or not - even another "iKross" device prior to this version had difficulties in the past). No problems whatsoever with this one.Cons: no real cons, other that WISH list items: 1. I wish when the device was on and I applied power to it (i.e. if I had it plugged in and playing in the car then I start the car, power is interrupted then restored) it wouldn't reset itself and need to be turned on again. This is probably because it switches to charging if it gets plugged in - I wish it wouldn't turn itself off when that happens. 2. I wish there was a "play/pause" button. What I would like is to get into the car, turn on the car which would apply power to this device, have it turn on when that happens, connect and start playing. Instead I have to turn on the car, hold down the power button on this to turn it on, then press play on the music player on the phone.

This tiny Bluetooth receiver module allows you to connect to a tablet or phone by wireless link to provide music quality stereo to an external device. It comes with a pair of ear canal earbuds and also a stereo jumper wire with male 1/8 in. (3.5mm) stereo phone plugs for connecting it to a home or car stereo. It has an internal LiPo battery that gets charged via a standard USB micro connector, same as nearly all modern cell phones, tablets and other mobile gear. And it comes with a short connector cable for charging it from a standard USB A port. The back of the module includes a clip that can hold it on a lapel or other fabric edge for convenience while using it for headphones. I had no problem pairing it with my Nexus 7 Android tablet and my mobile phone.Update: I just received a Blue tooth transmitter dongle that can be used to connect the output of any device with 1/8" stereo headphone jack to any other audio device input by way of this iKross module. Now I can use it for wireless headphone TV listening in the bedroom. The included earbuds are adequate for TV. I have some nice Sennheiser buds for serious music listening. I will also use the iKross for streaming music from my Nexus 7 to my home stereo.The BT transmitter I got is the Gogroove Bluesense TRM that is available here on Amazon.GOgroove BlueSense TRM Wireless A2DP Bluetooth Transmitter / Adapter for Mp3 Players , Tablets , Laptops , Desktops , Home Theater & More!One caution to note, there is a delay (latency) of a fraction of a second that make this setup unsuitable for live performance use, but I think that's unavoidable due to the analog to digital and then digital to analog conversions taking place.

Good Product

This device is great for listening to music. Only problem I had was, the audio gets out of sync when watching video.
