4Okay, but not great... Droid Razr Maxx user.
By J. Wang
I've been using it almost daily for 6 months now. Bought mine at Costco, and it came with a choice of 3 gel-style ear pieces, allowing me to choose the one I found most comfortable. I use it with my Droid Razr Maxx. I am a very basic user-- I use voice commands to make calls and with the press of one button on top I can answer calls. Today, I just downloaded "My Motospeak" so I can hear and send and reply to text messages hands-free. In theory, using a Motorola bluetooth headset and Motorola phone should yield optimal results. I was going to give it 3 stars, but after just downloading and playing with "My Motospeak", I'm upgrading it to 4 stars because now I can text hands-free while driving. The plusses and minuses:+ = has a comfortable earpiece that stays on all day long with no discomfort.+ = battery lasts me all week. When the battery starts to run low, I get a message on my phone "alerts"+ = I can put my phone down anywhere in the house and the bluetooth works; as long as I don't leave the house, they're connected.+ = Just tried sending a text message using "My Motospeak" and it understood me and sent the text message perfectly. Before it sends the message, it repeats it back to you, and asks, "Send message?" Will definitely be using this often!!! Should be a requirement so no-one ever does texting at the wheel again!- = when someone calls, unlike my phone, it verbally reads out only the caller's number, but not their name and number.- = when I want to make a call using "voice commands", the bluetooth's verbal repeat of my target person is very very fuzzy. So if I say "Call Gary X, Mobile" the repeat sounds like "Call Harry X, Mobile"; it may select the correct choice, but the verbal read-out is impossible to understand. If I had both a Harry X *and* Gary X as my contacts, I'd be in trouble.

4No ear gels
By RH
UPDATED MARCH 2013: Still all below is true, however, the flip began sticking - it would open about 85% of the way physically but not electronically connect unless I pushed the flip to full open position - very annoying. And of course out of Amazon's 30 day return policy. I contacted Motorola and they gave me a return authorization number with which I shipped this defective headset to Motorola (at my expense). Within a few days I got a receipt confirmation and with a few more days I got a replacement headset in retail packaging with ALL the ear gels, etc. Great customer service from Motorola!UPDATED JANUARY 2013: Everything I said below still applies. However, after using this for a while, I have to upgrade my rating to a 4. I've had Motorola "flip" headsets before and they're great. Performance on this one is also great and the "flip/turn-on" feature is super - (almost) instant power on - not like some of my other headsets I have that take quite a while to turn on and pair.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just now got this - it pairs easily but haven't had time to fully test it. BUT, even though the pictures show ear gels (eliminating the need to use the over the ear hook), and the manual shows how to use ear gels, and the product description on the web site says it comes with ear gels, they don't come with this headset. From the product description on Amazon:"Multiple wearing styles--on-ear; in-ear without hook; and in-ear with earhook"The only thing you get is the over the ear hook - cumbersome at best. Fortunately, I have some ear gels from my H17 headset (that broke and this is replacing) that fit. More on performance after I've used it for a while.

5Elite Flip Bluetooth
By Captain Taps
Great product- just bought second one after puppy chewed up first. Crystal clear voice and easy connectivity. EXACT same as model in retail packaging that costs $80-$90. Save yourself $30-$40 and get this model instead.
