I wear hearing aids in both ears (Siemens Infiniti Pro) and use a LG VX10000 Cell Phone (Verizon Voyager). Using the phone in handheld position is very difficult and nearly impossible for me to hear, as it is with every cell phone I have owned. I tried several different bluetooth headsets with the cell phone, but each one required me to remove my hearing aid from at least one ear, and then sound quality was lacking because I lost the amplification and equalization the hearing aid provided, so callers' voices sounded muddy and faint. The Clearsounds CLA7BT solves both problems for me. I keep my hearing aids on, caller's voices are amplified and equalized, and I can still hear surrounding sounds. The fact that sound is delivered to both hearing aids makes it seem like the caller is right in front of me, talking to me. Sure, it looks dorky, but so do hearing aids and eyeglasses. I can't imagine using a cell phone without the neckloop ever again. I highly recommend it for anyone who has hearing aids and must use a cell phone.

I recently had a cochlear implant and I have (like, forever) had hearing aids. Now I can listen to my cell phone, hands free, with both ears via the Clear Sounds Neckloop and the t-coils in my cochlear and aid. Best phone communications I've had in years. Unfortunately, there are no land-line phones that I've found that "work" with the neckloop, so I make all my calls via cell now.

I'm hard of hearing and have been using neck loops and head sets for hard of hearing & hearing aids wearer for years, I have tried almost everything out there, Hatis, phonak, ...... and Nokia neck loop (LPS4) which was THE BEST, unfortunately it's only worked on Nokia phones due to the way how it connects to the phone, what's everyone needs to know that these hearing aid headsets/neck loops should do:1-should offer excellent sound quality, 2-elimintae background noises, 3-can be used with most phones, mp3..., 4- people should be able to hear your voice clearly, 5- you should always be able to hear your voice, some bad quality neck loops mute your voice while you are talking which is completely unacceptable, as to me I can't judge the level on my voice (high or low) if I don't hear it, clear sound CLA7 Blue Tooth Neck loop have this problem, I had to return it as it was impossible to be used, plus people were complaining that they were unable to hear me wellI bought this because I read somewhere it was good, I made a bad judgments and did not check the fact that that review could be from one staff at the company who made this productBottom line = not worth it, wait for the new Nokia Bluetooth Neck loop which should be out in few weeks, Feb-Mrach.2009, I expect this to be one of the best as I have tried their old LP4 which was amazing, but I can't confirm until I try it.
